O-5 selection stats

The O-5 results have been out for a bit, and the statistics are here:

Two odd things to note:

1. 104.35% selection rate for 1130s (SEALs). We're obviously so desperately short that everyone is making it. This is telling, since that community has been in a full-on war for the last 12 years now.

2. METOC selected a below zone officer. You don't normally see that for any community at the O-5 level, especially METOC since you need 3-4 degrees to be considered for O-5.

1 comment:

  1. When you take 100% you're obviously scraping and chiseling the bottom of the barrel. They didn't do themselves any favors downstream. They will come to regret ignoring the Red Lines and driving good officers out into the warm embrace of their families and an enthusiastic industry looking for just such people.
