Of note in the article, "The usual tool for reducing personnel costs, as a result, is to reduce personnel (and that is happening)." Something to think about. As the DoD winds down, NOW is the time to make yourself someone that the DoD wants to keep. Start acquiring those skills that make you one of the folks that can stay in, and not be forced out.
