Looks like Admiral Greenert is trying his hardest to keep TA around. Definite thanks needs to go to him for resisting the quite-obvious influence from every other service cutting TA.
I can't find any direct quotes from him about TA, but I'm willing to bet he's grappling with just where to take the cuts at. It would make a great post on his blog though...
